Corrugated board or corrugated cardboard from English “corrugated board” - this is a cardboard made of paper folded in the form of waves and a flat sheet of paper glued to the board.

Two-layer corrugated board is a combination of glued flat layer and the corrugated layer of paper.
We produce two types of double-ply corrugated board:
- Two-ply corrugated board "E" flute or micro corrugated board up to 1.6 mm thick.
- Two-ply corrugated board "C" flute up to 4 mm thick.
Double-ply corrugated cardboard is not suitable for the production of cartons or boxes because it does not have high strength. It is used only for strengthening of goods and sealing the volumes between them. It is mainly used for filling and as a packaging material mainly for packaging of goods from the alcohol, canning, furniture, metalworking, glass and other industries.
Vatan Ltd. manufactures two types of three- corrugated board:
- "E" flute triple corrugated board or micro corrugated board with a thickness of up to 1.6 mm.
- "C" flute three-ply corrugated board with a thickness of up to 4 mm.
Three-layer "E" flute (micro corrugated board)
The micro corrugated board is produced with thickness of up to 1.6 mm. It is mainly used to pack smaller items.It is suitable for quality printing. It is suitable for making carton packs and small boxes with various designs and assemblies.
The largest application is for the die-casting of products used in the food industry - mainly in confectionery and fast food. These are boxes and pads for cakes, rolls, various sweets, pizzas, pads for katmi and many others. It is also used in other industries such as heavy industry, electronics, etc. when making boxes for metal elements such as bolts, nails, nuts, washers, pencil boxes, chemicals, tape, etc.
Three-layer "C" flute
The three-ply corrugated board "C" is a combination of two layers of flat paper, between which a layer of corrugated paper resembles the letter C. The thickness of triple corrugated board "C" flute is up to 4 mm.
The three-ply corrugated board "C" flute is mostly used to make boxes, cartons and non-standard packaging of various sizes. It is characterized by high quality, high strength and durability. The three-ply corrugated board "C" flute can be made of paper in different combinations. The papers can be: with different weight per square meter; be white or brown; be finer or coarser. The three-ply corrugated board "C" flute is an extremely suitable material for the production of slotted boxes and various stamping products.
